Telematic Services at SU 

Telematic Services within the Centre for Learning Technologies (CLT) focuses on several services and projects that provide access to education based on learning technologies. The offering of Telematic Services enhances the virtual mobility of students who are geographically isolated from access to higher education and works with the Hybrid Learning team. The services are also available to all lecturers and SU staff.

External clients

Telematic Services manages a technology platform that integrates satellite, streaming, and cell phone technology. This service is available to external clients, outside Stellenbosch University, to enhance their corporate training and professional development offering.

The successes of the Telematic Services to enhance access to high-quality education for students regardless of their location, has resulted in the expansion of this service to support grade 10 to 12 learners through the Telematic Schools Project in collaboration with the Western Cape Education Department (WCED).
